About Mouse & Meg - Award Winning Art

At Mouse & Meg, I create thoughtful, hand-drawn artwork designed to bring a little calm, character, and creativity into everyday life.
While the collection still includes the nursery and children’s prints that first inspired the business, Mouse & Meg has grown into something wider. Alongside wall art, you’ll now find illustrated cards, paper goods, and The Illustrated Post; a monthly letterbox delivery created to offer a quiet, creative pause in a busy world.
I have always loved to draw, paint, and design, and to turn my hand to anything creative in my spare time. The idea for Mouse & Meg began while accompanying my husband on a business trip, where I found myself sketching a few simple animals and wondering whether I could turn that passion into something more.
Originally, every piece was drawn and painted by hand as a one-off. Today, I use digital tools to develop my work, but every design still begins in the same way - with paper, pencil, and the quiet moment when a character slowly appears on the page. There’s still nothing quite like that feeling.
Mouse & Meg is named after my two children, Thomas (known as “Mouse” since he was a baby) and Megan Rose. With a busy household that includes five children, life is wonderfully full, often chaotic, and rarely quiet. Creating artwork has become both a creative outlet and a way to carve out small moments of calm amongst it all; something I hope my work brings to others too.
Every piece you see here is entirely drawn and created by me. They are a labour of love, I hope you love them too.
Thank you for being here!
